چکیده

While fossil oil reserves have been receding, the demand for diesel and gasoline has growing. In recent years, syngas of biomass origin emerging as a viable feedstock Fischer-Tropsch (FT) synthesis, process manufacturing synthetic diesel. This paper reports optimization quality to match FT synthesis requirement. The model maximizes thermal efficiency under constraint H 2 / C O ≥ 2.15 operating conditions equivalent ratio ( id="M2"> E R = 0.0 -1.0), steam id="M3"> S B -5.0), gasification temperature id="M4"> T g 500 °C-1300°C). is executed using section Model Analysis Tools Aspen Plus simulator. tested eleven (11) types municipal solid waste (MSW). optimum which objective function are satisfied id="M5"> 0 , id="M6"> 0.66 -1.22, id="M7"> 679 -763°C. Fischer-Tropsch synthesis using bio-syngas and CO2

While Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FTS) using coal and natural gas in conventional reactors is an almost well-established technology, the production of liquid hydrocarbons from syngas obtained from biomass is in its preliminary stages of commercialization in countries like Germany. With concerns about global warming and ways of disposing of CO2 being searched for, CO2 hydrogenation using FTS to l...

Effect of Structural Promoters on Fe-Based Fischer–Tropsch Synthesis of Biomass Derived Syngas

Biomass gasification and subsequent conversion of this syngas to liquid hydrocarbons using Fischer– Tropsch (F–T) synthesis is a promising source of hydrocarbon fuels. However, biomass-derived syngas is different from syngas obtained from other sources such as steam reforming of methane. Specifically the H2/CO ratio is less than 1/1 and the CO2 concentrations are somewhat higher. Here, we repor...

Effect of Steam During Fischer–Tropsch Synthesis Using Biomass-Derived Syngas

The gasification of biomass is a promising technique to generate different forms of valuable alternative energy, including direct thermal energy and further conversion of synthesis gas to clean liquid fuels or chemicals via Fischer– Tropsch synthesis (FTS) [1–5]. The ideal H2/CO ratio for FTS is ~2/1 based on the stoichiometry. However, The H2/ CO for the synthesis gas obtained from biomass gas...

Investigation of Syngas Production from Waste Gas and Ratio Adjustment using a Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis Reactor

In this study, a reformer model simulation to use refinery (Farashband refinery, Iran) waste natural gas. In the petroleum and allied sectors where natural gas is being encountered (in form of associated gas) without prior preparation for its positive use, its combustion (which takes place in flares, an equipment through which they are being disposed) has become a great problem because of its a...
